Genelia D'Souza is an Indian film actress. She born on 5 August 1981 to Jeanette D'Souza and Neil D'Souza in Mumbai. Genelia belongs to a prominent Christian community, Mangalorean Catholic community in Mumbai. She studied at Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra, Mumbai. She had completed her graduation in Management studies from St. Andrews College in Bandra, Mumbai. D'Souza did her first modeling assignment at age 15. She worked opposite Ritesh Deshmukh in Tujhe Meri Kasam, which was a remake of Telugu movie Nuvve Kavalier and then an average response time. She was recognized for her performance in Bommarillu in 2006 with several awards. She Was Bollywood in Priyadarshan’s Mere Baap Pehle Aap and the year’s hit Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Genelia was seen in Life Partner (2009), and Katha (2009). She further did a Fair and Lovely 2003 Cricket World Cup advertisement with cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth.
