New Delhi. Maanvi opted for sciences with biology in school. She belonged to the 'honesty' house in the school and graduated from the same in the year 2003. It has been incorrectly stated that she graduated from the school in the year 2005. That is not possible as she did the show Dhoom Machao Dhoom subsequent to graduation from the Gargi College and the show only aired in the year 2007 which means she definitely graduated from Gargi college in the year 2006 and from school in the year 2003. She graduated from Gargi College with a degree in psychology. Maanvi speaks Hindi, English and Kashmiri. She is also learning Bengali.
She had a small appearance as a crazed fan in The Cheetah Girls: One World. Her latest film is Aamras, which released on 11 September 2009. In the film, she plays the role of Rakhi Chadda. She has received critical acclaim for her performance in the movie .
